Sparrows Group and MRDS have secured two joint drilling equipment contracts in the Middle East with an international drilling contractor and an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in the region.
OEM covers the inspection and overhaul of nine catwalks, utility cranes and ancillary equipment.
The work preparation I sin progress and after Sparrows’ Abu Dhabi inspection, all equipment will be repaired and upgraded where necessary, ensuring its integrity and safety, and delivered back to our client fully refurbished.
As Stewart Mitchell, chief executive officer of Sparrows said, this contract demonstrates the confidence that the drilling market has in Sparrow capabilities.
Mark Robertson, MRDS’ managing director himself, declared: “utilising Sparrows’ existing facilities in the Middle East our clients can be assured that they will receive local technical support at the high-quality standard they expect. We’re delighted to have already been selected by two clients to undertake these large and critical scopes”.
